# Use Selection Sort to Sort Employee Data About Pay

This program is supposed to prompt the user for hours and wage of 4 employees. Then the program will use a selection sort to sort the data into ascending value using the wages. The information like employee id and hours and what not should be adjusted to match the sorted data. My program works but are there improvements that can be made since I did have to create 4 minValue variables?

1. Please avoid the usage of namespace as follows

using namespace std;


Instead call it whenever necessary like

std::cout << std::fixed << std::showpoint << std::setprecision(2) << "\n";

2. To improve the performance instead use "\n" instead of std::endl
3. Integral variables should be pre initialized and declare each in separate line to get better readability

4. If possible declare the iterator variable within for loop itself:

Create another array, calling it mapping, initially consisting of the numbers 0 to ARRAY_SIZE - 1, and then move entries around in just that one instead of moving around the four separate values. One change you have to make is, instead of looking at wages[index] to do the sort, look at wages[mapping[index]]. The other change is in the function when you're printing out the information, inside the brackets should be mapping[index] instead of just index.
