Apr 17, 2014 at 16:36 comment added cimmanon @LokiAstari Lots of people eat at McDonald's, too, that doesn't mean it is good. Bootstrap is the McDonald's of the CSS world. It can get the job done, but I would rather go almost anywhere else if given a choice.

Bootstrap is a well known / well tested / hardened wheel (lots of eyeballs have looked at it). If you can use it then prefer to use it over something you wrote yourself.
