On the topic of letting methods be default: you could also use default values for fields in Date and then let the constructor be default. e.g. unsigned int month = 1; unsigned int day = 1; unsigned int year = 1970; and then Date() = default;

You would have to perform sorting always with O(n) or whatever complexity it takes but list is guaranteed to be O(1) | |
