The typename ... is used to prevent over smart users from manually specifying the template arguments. ssize is a useful feature that is standardized in c++20, so I decided to include it. (I used it in compare.) data should return T* not pointer because pointer has a different meaning (in the same way you don't want to return an iterator here, though using iterator = T*;)
