Dec 22 '17 at 3:03 comment added Blindman67 The function is a memory hog and runs about 17 time slower than using a simplier (same functionality) function that sorts in place rather than make many copies of the data. Give it a good sized data set to sort 100,000 records and 10 sortable fields, can you get the time to under a slow second???

Dec 19 '17 at 19:40 comment added I wrestled a bear once. the only feedback i have it don't golf it so much.. this is a lot harder to read than it should be. also, this feels like it should be a class (you have a lot of variables with really common names)
