Your loop in the last example will not work, because it swaps every pair of characters twice, which will simply output the original string. (The printed text will be reversed, but the value stored in the string won't.) You should have the loop go to length/2 so that each swap only happens once. (With 2 arrays, you do need the full length in the loop, but not with 1.)
