@SjoerdJobPostmus I didn't know that, but IIRC Guido doesn't like map , filter and reduce and so wanted to remove them in Py3, so using a comprehension is probably better/safer.

You could use filter(bool, A) instead of filter(lambda x: x != 0, A)
