Awhile ago I posted a Translator app that I have been in the process of making, I edited some features in it and I've decided to post it again. My questions being this:

1. Is there anything I should add to this?
2. Is there any better (more easily readable) syntax for what I'm trying to do?
3. Say I wanted to make a GUI for this app, what language goes well with Ruby?
