I should probably encapsulate my entire XHR/JSON loading into a single function (similar to this, but lighter) and call it from init. I'll add some error handling, too. This should solve all of the problems you cited. Re: the if/else block I chose this for speed and readability, but I could certainly refactor it into a loop. | |
