I am working on an Android project for the aviation industry that will be used at the Enterprise level (Not the market). I cannot go into details but that the Federal Aviation Administration & several aviation manufacturers have interest in the project. I am developing the 'Frame-Work" for a minimal working application (conceptual app) to be presented to aviation investors later this summer.
I am keeping tabs here on SO for who is the most helpful on helping me learn Android (figuring out who really knows what they are doing - 'cause I don't! LOL). With that in mind, I will be needing to hire a team of developers full-time to continue development of this application and to maintain it once the project has been 'fully' approved to proceed. The candidates will have to be very fluent w/Android (at least two members), and/or with jQuery/Mobile, SQLite, PHP, webKit, AS3, & HTML5 technologies.
My background is in aviation engineering (electromechanical & structural), radio telecommunications (FCC+Radar), & maintenance (A&P). I am obviously not a developer but am taking a crash course here thru SO to learn the minimum to get this project off the ground. I also have a background building w/Flash (Actionscript) since the late 90's on the side.
I had a conceptual idea for use of Android Tablets for aviation techs, engineers, underwriters and administrators(FAA) that has support for the needs of this app can supply. So now the ball is in my hands to get it started. This is an extremely large project!!
Any help would be very helpful and noted. Thnx! Jason Kennedy
